Volker Zirn
Founder and Managing Director of DAT/EM Systems Europe GmbH
He has over 35 years of experience in cartographic and photogrammetric production, as well as in geodata services and product distribution.
After training as a cartographer and specializing in photogrammetric methods, he completed his studies in cartography at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. As part of various projects, he contributed to the development of a thematic map series based on aerial and satellite imagery for the National Atlas of Egypt as part of a special research project.
For over 20 years, he led commercial photogrammetric production for projects both domestically and internationally. Today, he brings this extensive expertise to the leadership of DAT/EM Systems Europe GmbH.
